GPSR compliance for eMAG — automated, not manual
Since 13 December 2024, every online offer must include GPSR safety data. We auto-fill the manufacturer, EU responsible person and warnings — on your store and on eMAG — without touching thousands of products by hand.
eMAG deactivates offers without GPSR data. If you received the "Offers with missing GPSR information" notice, your products risk disappearing from the marketplace until you update them.
GPSR (EU Regulation 2023/988) has applied since 13 December 2024 and replaces the old product safety directive. For online selling, every offer must clearly show who the manufacturer is, who is responsible for the product in the EU, how the product is identified, and what safety warnings it carries. At thousands of offers, filling this manually is unrealistic — so we automate it.
What every offer must contain
The four categories of information GPSR (Art. 19) requires for each product sold online.
Manufacturer details
Name or registered trademark, postal address and electronic (email/website) contact address.
EU responsible person
If the manufacturer is outside the EU, an economic operator established in the EU (name, address, email) accountable for compliance. Mandatory for the product to be on the market.
Product identification
Type, model/SKU, batch or serial number for traceability, plus an image — so the product can be identified unambiguously.
Warnings and instructions
Safety warnings and usage instructions, written in the local language, visible directly in the offer.
We automate compliance, not copy it by hand
We configure the data once, then apply it automatically to every product that has it — on your store and on eMAG.
We centralize GPSR data
We define manufacturers and EU responsible persons once, reusable, and map them to brands and categories.
We display it on your store
We integrate GPSR fields into your product pages (PrestaShop, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopify, Gomag, etc.), auto-filled by rules.
We push it to eMAG via API
We send the data in bulk to eMAG Marketplace (manufacturer, EU responsible person and safety information) across every offer that has it — not one by one.
Report + automatic upkeep
You get a list of products missing data, and new products are filled automatically by the same rules — compliant with no recurring effort.
Works on your platform
The integration fits your current stack. If your store runs on a slow platform, we can combine GPSR compliance with a migration to a modern headless stack.
GPSR in brief
EU Regulation 2023/988 applies from 13 December 2024. It is already in force, and marketplaces like eMAG deactivate non-compliant offers.
Offers without the mandatory safety information can be deactivated by eMAG and stop appearing in the marketplace until you complete them.
If the manufacturer is established outside the EU, yes — you need an EU economic operator (importer, authorised representative or fulfilment provider) accountable for compliance. For EU-manufactured products, the manufacturer details are enough.
No — that's what we solve. We configure the data once, by brand and category, and apply it automatically to every product that has it, including pushing to eMAG via API.
Yes. We can fill the data directly in eMAG via the Marketplace API based on a catalog with manufacturer / EU responsible person mappings, even without your own store.
It depends on the number of products and how structured your data is. After a free audit we give you a clear timeline and cost.
