sissoft.ro sets no cookies of its own. We measure audience without cookies (Matomo, on our own server) and use Google Analytics only with your consent. Below is everything that can reach your browser and how you control each item.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device, used to remember preferences or to make the site work properly. Alongside them, a site may use the browser’s local storage, which stays on your device and is sent nowhere.

Strictly necessary local storage (no cookies)

To work, the site keeps the following in your browser’s local storage — not in cookies, and without sending anything to a third party:

  • your theme preference (light / dark);
  • your decision in the cookie banner, so we do not ask again on every visit;
  • for the duration of your visit, where you came from (campaign parameters, landing page, referring site) — attached to a form if you send one; cleared when the tab is closed.

These are strictly necessary and require no consent.

Cookieless audience measurement (Matomo)

We measure traffic with Matomo, self-hosted on our own server in the European Union, configured without cookies and without individual profiles: it counts visits and pages, does not follow people across sites and sends data to no third party. That is why it needs no consent and does not appear in the cookie banner.

Cloudflare Turnstile

On pages with forms (contact, audit requests, GPSR check, the speed test report) we load Cloudflare Turnstile, which quietly checks that you are not a bot. Turnstile may set a technical cookie of its own, strictly necessary for the check to work, and sends your IP address and technical browser data to Cloudflare (details in the Privacy policy). It requires no consent: without it, the forms could not work spam-free.

Google Analytics 4 — only after you accept

Google Analytics helps us understand how the site is used. The Google script is not loaded at all until you press Accept in the banner (Consent Mode v2). After you accept, Google LLC sets the cookies below:

  • _ga — distinguishes visitors from one another; duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_* (for example _ga_XXXXXXXXXX) — keeps the session state for our Google Analytics property; duration: 2 years.

We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.

How to withdraw consent

The “Cookie settings” button in the footer of every page reopens the banner; you can change your choice at any time. If you decline after having accepted, we stop Google Analytics and delete the _ga cookies from your device. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
